2.   What is the difference between CaptureCAM™-PRO and other similar programs?

Most similar programs produce .avi format files that are very large in size with jerky mouse movements. CaptureCAM™-PRO however uses a proprietary file format which results in file sizes that you can email and mouse movement that is smooth as silk.

3.   What screen resolutions can I record at and can I record my full screen?

It is possible to record at any screen resolution your Computer monitor will display. CaptureCAM™-PRO comes with several preset resolutions, the option to 'Click-N-Drag' or you can simply type your own size into the custom capture area dialogue box.

EG:. If you need to record an area that is 1024 x 768 or higher, simply choose the custom option and type in your values. When you click enter you will see a cross hair, this represents where the top left corner of your custom record area will start. If your custom record area is the same as your present screen resolution or higher, the frame will automatically center and fit your screen.
Note: you will not be able to see the frame when recording full screen or larger.

4.   I can't get my microphone to work, all I can hear is background music when I  playback.

This may be because your Computer Sound settings are not correct. View the following CaptureCAM movie for a detailed explanation of how to adjust Sound settings.
Windows Record Levels for CaptureCam Pro

5.   I have received a CaptureCAM file but I don't hear any voice.

This may be due to the voice being recorded at a low level when the movie was made. Click on the speaker icon on the Control Bar or tap the Up arrow key to adjust the Voice Volume level.

 6.   Do I need the CaptureCAM™-PRO PLAYER to play movies if I have the Recorder?

No! The CaptureCAM-PRO RECORDER acts as a Player as well as a Recorder.

 7.   Do I need to pack the Player (create a self executing .exe) every time I send a movie?

When you send a self executing .exe to someone, the Player is automatically installed on their system, therefore every other time you send a movie to that person, there is no need to send a self executing .exe, just the ccp file.
Note: a self executing .exe will not run unless the user has administration rights on that Computer. Administration rights are needed to register dll files and to make registry entry's. For more info on this subject, please read the "Instructions to Administrators" PDF, in the "Technical Support" section. The Player is a FREE download from our web site, direct the recipients of your movie to our web site to download the player.

 8.   Why does the Control Bar disappear when I click record?

The Control Bar will automatically hide(F11) if it is overlapping the record area during recording. This is to stop the Control Bar from being recorded. To end recording when the Control Bar is hidden, hit the "ESC" key on your keyboard alternatively the (F11) will show the Control Bar.

 9.    When I select a different Music file for my movie, that file doesn't play on the users Computer.

If you choose a different Music file for your movie, that file must be on the users Computer in the "Backmp3files" folder for it to play back.

 10.  Why does the movie frame disappear?
