How easy is it to learn?
CaptureCAM™-PRO has an easy to get around interface with a simple four step process for recording and post production that makes creating video files a breeze. We have also included a Getting Started Training Program that consists of a number of training videos created with CaptureCAM™-PRO and AMS to assist you in creating your first recording. This Getting Started program which was created using AMS 6 is an example of how you can integrate CaptureCAM™-PRO recordings into an AMS project.
Does CaptureCAM™-PRO support Macromedia Flash?
Yes. One of CaptureCAM's output formats is Flash, it also supports a number of Flash features that can be adjusted in CaptureCAM's Flash video settings.
What Other formats does CaptureCAM™-PRO support?
CaptureCAM™-PRO has 4 output formats.
- EXE: Self contained CCP video with the player built in.
- CCS: CaptureCAM™-PRO's Streaming file format for use with the web
- CCP: CaptureCAM™-PRO's native format which is the smallest file size available in the world!
What are CaptureCAM™-PRO's system requirements?
CaptureCAM™-PRO system requirements are:
500 MHZ Pentium II or compatible.
128 Meg Ram
WIN 2000, XP
DirectX 7 or higher
Can I use CaptureCAM™-PRO with Macs?
Unfortunately, CaptureCAM™-PRO is designed for use with Windows only. However CCS files and Flash video files that you create can be played back on MACs.
Can I edit the recordings I make?
Yes. CaptureCAM™-PRO offers the ability to Trim the front and the end of a recording as well as join (Append) recordings together. If you mess it, just trim it. We have also built in a feature that enables you to edit the vocal track of your recording, using your own favorite wav editor.
Can I add Background Music
Yes. A Background Music track is automatically added to your recording upon completion. There are a number of selections available. (Note: Background Music is only available for the ccp format)
Can I record any screen size?
Yes. CaptureCAM™-PRO offers a number of ways to define the recording area. You can Click-n-drag, Snap to window, Full screen, select from presets as well as set your own custom screen size. It is also possible to setup your own recording user profiles using the profiles feature.
Can I record just my voice?
Yes. CaptureCAM™-PRO offers a the ability to create Voice-Mail by choosing Voice-Mail it from Define Capture menu. Just click record and begin speaking. When you are finish you can simply email it. Additionally, you can output just the vocal track of any recording as a .wav file.
