Post Production > Produce Video > STEP 1 - VIDEO FORMAT
To Produce a shareable Video
1. Click the "Produce Video" icon on the Post Production dialog box.
2. Choose a file format for your video from the four available shareable formats.
(NOTE: These screens only appear as long as the "Always show this screen" check box on the first screen is checked!)
CCPR
|
CCPR files are the Master format that CaptureCAM creates immediately after recording has finished. This format is CaptureCAM's basic working format and IS NOT meant for distribution as they can be very large in size.

|
CCP
|
CCP files are small in file size, with little or no loss of quality and very smooth mouse playback. CCP files are excellent for e-mailing, placing on CD or the Web. NOTE CCP files require the end user to have the free CaptureCAM Player installed.

|
|
CCS
|
CCS files are a Web Streaming version of CCP files. Excellent for Web distribution, CD or E-mailing. CCS files have the same characteristics as a CCP file. NOTE: CCS files require installation of the CCS ActiveX Player and Internet Explorer, to stream. The HTML file generated on production of a CCS file, will install the ActiveX player from the web, if the end user is connected to the web when the html file is executed.

FLASH
|
Flash is a common format used for Web distribution. Flash files are compatible with most Web browsers. Flash files can be large in size compared to CCP/CCS files and need to be completely downloaded from a website before play commences.

VOCAL
|
CaptureCAM offers two formats for exporting the vocal track of your recording, namely MP3 and WAV. Exporting as an mp3 can create a smaller file but may result in a loss of quality. Exporting as a WAV can create higher quality sound files but the file sizes maybe considerably larger.
